As well as courses run in the UK, Gully Howard Technical Limited has conducted BOHS International Hygiene Module W501, Measurement of Hazardous Substances and W502, The Thermal Environment in Baku, Azerbaijan and Fundamental Principles of Industrial Hygiene courses in Cairo, Egypt and Baku.

A wide range of occupational hygiene courses are delivered to the British Occupational Hygiene Society’s syllabi. We also deliver the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health’s Asbestos Awareness Seminar, the only course carrying a nationally recognised qualification.

Occupational hygiene short courses comprise lectures, practical sessions, case studies and syndicate work, addressing such aspects as health risk assessment; chemicals in the workplace; noise; lighting, workplace monitoring (sampling & analysis); ergonomics/human factors (including manual handling and display screen equipment use) and the principles of workplace control.

Qualifications are recognised internationally and each course culminates in an examination and is adjudicated by BOHS.

Personnel with responsibilities for co-ordinating Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programmes and for providing specialised HSE advice should attend.

Course are scheduled throughout the year at our training venue in Portsmouth but we are pleased to discuss "in house" training at your preferred location.
